This app is like Spotify Wrapped, but better.

Personalized music charts, in real-time, every day.

It’s that time of the year again. Spotify gives you an awesome collection of analytics and charts based on the music you listened to during the past year. Based on my social media feed everyone loves seeing and sharing these and I don’t blame them, I geek out about getting personalized charts based on the music I’ve listened to. This is why it’s a massive shame that so many people are sleeping on Last.fm.

What is Last.fm?

Last.fm is a completely free platform that connects with any app you’re using to play music, and it builds awesome charts based on your listening habits. You can track your top artists, songs and albums and see personalized music charts for the past week, month, year or your whole lifetime as a Last.fm user. Me and my friends used to compete who racks up the most songs listened in a week and sometimes we’ll still compare our total tracks played. I’ve been using this service for a whopping 18 years and during that time I’ve listened to over 300,000 tracks. Having charts and statistics for all my music listening since my teenage years is pretty awesome. Last.fm has been around long before Spotify was even born and somehow it never got super popular, which is a shame because it’s incredible.

Go give it a try: https://www.last.fm/
