Saved passwords missing from Safari? Try this.

Auto-fill not working in Safari – annoying but common issue

A common issue with macOS and Safari seems to be that your saved passwords in Safari randomly disappear. You go to a website, try to log in and… nothing. Auto-fill doesn’t find any user accounts or passwords. A quick check under Preferences – Passwords reveals that it’s not just one website, ALL your saved passwords are missing.

You could grab your iPhone, open up the saved passwords tab under Settings and then manually fill in your info. This is what we were doing for a while. A faster and easier solution is to simply quit and relaunch Safari. A quick relaunch restores all saved passwords and you’re good. Until they go missing again.

Apple, let’s get this fixed soon?
